THE DRILL
- Record the meek half and the menacing half separately before trying the switch in one take.
- Mark the exact syllable where the takeover happens and leave a beat of silence before it.
- Rehearse the flip five times fast — the contrast gets sharper as it gets easier.

- Raise the pitch and add breath for the nervous voice; drop both for the other one.
- The switch should feel like a power cut, not a fade.
- Let the last word land lower and slower than feels natural.
